Art Competition - Call for Submissions and Terms & Conditions

What’s your vision for democracy? Let's redesign democracy together!

Many African citizens express distrust in democracy, yet the majority still prefer it over any other system. Against this backdrop, how do we reimagine the kind of democracy Africans truly want - through art?

Calling all visual artists to submit their works!

Theme: Redesigning Democracy Together
Deadline: 30th September 2025
Prize: P3000 each for the top 3 artists

The winning artworks will be showcased at the Gaborone Democracy Lab in October.

Please only submit artworks digitally, such as a scan or photo of the original. Submit the image, artwork title and your name to botswana.info(at)fes.de.
